University Placement Service

University Placement Service (UPS) is a counseling and admission service for acceptance to higher education in North America, including career certificate programs, college diploma programs, Associate’s degrees, Bachelor’s degrees and Master’s degrees.  In Canada, college usually means a 2- or 3-year diploma program in areas such as Hospitality and Tourism, International Business, Nursing, Graphic Design; universities offer 4-year Bachelor’s degrees in the Arts, Sciences, Applied Sciences (Engineering), and Business.

Private School Placement

Our service is also available for high school students interested in a North American private school. High school graduates may also apply if they wish to experience a semester at a Canadian or American private high school. This can be very helpful for improving one’s English and grade point average, or to get courses that are pre-requisites for specific university programs.

This service includes:

  • Assistance with applications to the colleges or universities

  • Access to our Preferred Schools Network: EF has relationships with over 50 colleges and universities across Canada and the U.S. Some of these colleges accept EF Level 7/8 instead of the TOEFL exam.

  • Guaranteed acceptance to one of our partner schools for qualified students at the undergraduate level

  • Research and selection of appropriate schools

  • Assistance with writing and editing all support documentation such as essays, resumes, etc.

  • Personal one-to-one counseling and support

  • Assistance with obtaining necessary documentation at home and abroad

Cost of the program:

$575 CAD (including the cost of three university application fees) or $350 CAD (not including application fees)

What do you need to do?

  • Do some research to find out colleges and universities you are interested in
  • Visit colleges and universities in Toronto
  • Talk to your family about studying in Canada and getting all the documents you need from your country (high school transcripts, university transcripts, etc)
  • Maintain at least 80% attendance and a high academic standard
  • UPS requires the student to be in Level 5, but students of all levels are welcome to come for a free consultation
