The Computer Labs (iLab)

EF Toronto has 3 to 4 state-of-the-art computer labs, which are primarily used for the iLab component of your course (ilab.ef.com). iLab 1 and 2 are located on the ground floor. iLab 3 is located on the 3rd Floor. In the summer time, we temporarily open iLab 4, which is also located on the 3rd Floor.

 

We also have six email computers at the front desk for your convenience, and a Wi-Fi router for your laptop, which is free to use.

 

Self-Study iLabs

Every week, General students reserve 1 extra class periods to use the EF Efekta iLab system at 11:30 or 13:00. All other students reserve two, so they can do their Online SPIN. The sign-up sheets are posted on the ground floor by Lab 1.

 

Rules of the iLabs:

- No food or drink is allowed in the lab at any time. This includes gum, candy and water.

- Students should not miss or be late for classes as a result of using the lab.

- Students should not download or install any files, our insert any devices such as mp3 players into the USB port.

- Students must never use EF computers to access pornography or other objectionable materials.

- Students must never damage any of the computer equipment.

- Students should always respect others by not speaking too loudly or disturbing the study of other students.
